What can Greenview do for me?

The purpose of the Teach USA program is to promote interaction and enhance mutual understanding between U.S. and international teachers. Participating teachers are placed in a K-12 host school for 1-3 years and teach a wide range of subjects. During this program, teachers can expect to sharpen their professional skills and take part in cross-cultural activities within their schools and local communities.

how to be eligible for our program

Note our program primarily focuses on working alongside Teachers that CURRENTLY work outside the USA

Eligibility

Must be working as a teacher outside of the U.S.
If not currently teaching, within 12 months of applying for program, must have or will have received an advanced degree (beyond a U.S. bachelor’s) in education or in the subject matter you intend to teach
Must have at least 2 years full-time teaching experience
Must be fluent in the English language
Must meet the qualification for teaching at the primary or secondary levels in schools in your home country
Must be of good reputation and character
Must meet the eligibility standards of the U.S. state in which you will teach to include any required criminal background checks
Have a Bachelor's degree equivalent to a US degree from an accredited college or university.

If you wish to work with us and assist applicant teachers you can expect the following:

Partner Responsibilities include the following:

As an international sending partner, you are responsible for the following:

Identifying suitable candidates for Greenheart Exchange’s Work and Travel program
Providing interested candidates with program information and application materials
Screening for English language proficiency
Verifying and checking all applications
Submitting complete applications to Greenheart Exchange for review and processing
Communicating directly with applicants during the application process
Assisting participants in obtaining the necessary visa from the local U.S. Embassy or Consulate
Assisting with making travel arrangements
Conducting pre-departure orientation
Serve as home country contact in the event of an emergency
Maintaining regular hours, checking email daily and providing Greenheart Exchange with updated contact information
